A positive-experience checklist

Keep experiences gentle, gradual and short, with places to hide and rest. This checklist is not a deadline, behavioral score or vaccination schedule.

What belongs in a calm introduction?

RSPCA recommends continuing positive socialisation when kittens come home, gradual introduction to the carrier and handling, familiar food and routines, and regular rest. Let the kitten pause or move away. Avoid overwhelming or forced encounters. Ask your vet about safe contact with other animals and the individual vaccination plan.

Is there a universal milestone calendar here?

No. This pilot does not publish neonatal eye-opening, walking or weaning dates without a separate verified developmental source. Do not judge an individual kitten from a checkbox or wait for a calendar date if something seems wrong.
